Sentinel-1 quick GIFs
We at EarthDaily Analytics (formerly Descartes Labs) have built a number of tools over the last few years to work with Sentinel-1 data quickly and efficiently. When an AOI of interest is identified or requested for generating insights over, it is helpful to quickly visualize higher level products already available in our catalog.
Shown below is a screen capture of how the "GIF generator" tool in "Iris" can be used to quickly generate GIFs for visualization of change. This tool is great for quickly sharing results among collaborators and for quick insights without significant analysis.
The "Iris" viewer and the tools within are built on top of our platform whose API documentation can be found on docs.descarteslabs.com. Examples of using this API to programatically generate GIFs can be found in this notebook. Note that it is really easy to extend this support to other geospatial datasets on catalog without significant code changes.

More rigorous analysis and detailed change detection can be performed by accessing the underlying data directly using the API above.
